The September 9, 2025, monthly meeting of Fairfield Township was called to order at 5:00 PM by Chairman Phil Yetzer. Other board members present were Supervisor Les McCoy, Supervisor Molly Swaggert, Treasurer Kathy Hachey, and Clerk Marianne Auge.

The Pledge of Allegiance was said.

The agenda was reviewed.  The treasurer’s report was added to the agenda. Phil made a motion to approve the agenda with the change and Les 2nd the motion and it carried unanimously.

The bills were reviewed. Molly made a motion to pay the bills and Les 2^nd the motion, and it carried unanimously.

The minutes of August 12 ,2025 meeting were read. Phil made a motion to approve the minutes and Molly 2^nd the motion and it carried unanimously.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

 The August treasurer’s report was read. Molly made a motion to place it for audit and Les 2^nd the motion and it carried unanimously.

No public comment.

New Business: The clerk said she got a call from Zed Schweitzer asking if his church could use the gravel pit on October 11, 2025, for the trap shooting. Phil made a motion to let the church use the gravel pit if they turn in the proof of insurance and the letter from the pastor saying that the township would not be responsible for any accidents. Molly 2^nd the motion and it carried unanimously. Molly will open the gate for the church group on October 11, 2025.

The clerk will see what the auditor says about the signs next to the town hall.

Old Business: Les said the pickup truck needs to be fixed. We may have to take it somewhere to be repaired.

Cemetery Brochure: Kathy said it is done.  Molly said she would pick it up on 9/10/25.

Les said he would try to get to Bonnie Lakes Road to see where people are throwing tree branches and garbage.

Les said Russ fixed up Darsnek road where it was rough.

Les said he would try to get a quote for putting the culverts in on Bonnie Lakes Road.

Kathy said Go North is going to apply for 501C status.

Correspondence was read.                                               

Molly made a motion to adjourn and Les 2^nd the motion and it carried unanimously.

 The meeting adjourned 6:00 PM.
